Sometimes we're so anxious for a double green chile cheeseburger, we dig in without even washing our hands. That's how tantalizing this food is! The flashing sign beckons us to hot dog mecca, where we indulge in not only dogs but the essential tater tots and Frito pie. Get your dogs to go and race home so you can enjoy them with a few brews. Or go inside the Dog House and find a seat at the tiny counter, then nurse that sweaty tongue of yours with a milkshake. (Alibi Staff, August 11, 2010)

Somehow, despite its unappealing texture and color, the Dog House brown chile remains rather delicious. The hamburger patties are like shoe leather, though. Do they even have green chile? I thought it was all brown. I personally think the best thing to eat there are the chile cheese tots. And the wise among us just park in the lot and wait for the carhop to come out and take your order.

even if you do have to "pay for it" for several daze afterwards. It's a real Albuquerque Route 66 experience to burn one, pull out the classic car, drive down to the Dog House and wait for your food in the car.

Sorry I just was *forced* to say that. Different, yet tasty, good, and satisfying. I am curious as to what is in their famous brown chili sauce. this place is one of the few, if not the only true curb-service places in town. OK in my book.
