The Offices of the EVP for Administration and Planning, Budget and Analysis is looking for an energetic, self-motivated and organized individual to serve as the Professional Support Intern to oversee and undertake a wide variety of administrative duties as well as special projects of varying levels of professional complexity requiring knowledge and expertise. Some of the duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: General Departmental Responsibilities • Maintain general Website for OPBA and EVP Admin. Office. • Coordinate HRP/HMWR processing • Update and oversee department employee calendars • Coordinate and assist with management of meetings for OPBA and EVP Admin. office • Reconcile department indices • Process approval queue documents • Coordinates annual budget publication • Compile annual OPBA, BAR and operating and capital budget plan books • Assist with editing and compiling EVP Annual Reports • Answer phone and greet guests • Oversee workroom area • Check department email account • Coordinate yearly department inventory Processing Documentation including: • Department Timekeeping • Department Purchasing (Pcard and Loboweb) • Department Travel Reimbursements • Department ChromeRiver/expense reports Special Projects Undertake complex projects with the guidance of the Director or Manager not limited to mid-year budget reviews, budget processing, budget publications and EVP Admin. Publications. Assist the Manager with the production of presentations and website materials for the Regents' Finance and Facilities Committee. Minimum Qualifications : Student currently enrolled at an accredited university in a Bachelor's or Master's program, within a year from graduating; no previous experience required. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience maintaining and managing websites • Ability to coordinate and facilitate meetings • Ability to communicate effectively and write clearly, succinctly and in a manner appropriate for a wide variety of internal and external constituencies • Ability to work under pressure, apply critical thinking skills, and de-escalate difficult situations • Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively manage multiple projects • Ability to learn new UNM processing programs (e.g. Banner, My Reports, Hyperion, Loboweb or ChromeRiver) $11.25 - $16.88 hourly Please apply at:
