This highly competitive position offers an opportunity to participate in leading edge community healthcare work that extends healthcare to rural and underserved populations. Project ECHO is looking for a candidate who has a background as a Community Health Worker and who possesses strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing. The successful individual will understand and interpret educational needs; develop effective instructional materials for healthcare workers; provide outreach, education, and health coaching to patients in the clinical or community settings for a variety of medical and mental health disorders. Primary duties include: develop educational tools, presentations, and audiovisual aids for CHWs. The successful individual will work with and train the Native American community health workers to improve healthcare in Tribal communities. Experience in working with our Native American population and healthcare workers is preferred, but not required.
