SOCIAL MEDIA STRATEGISTAre you a social media power player? The American Society of Radiologic Technologists, the world’s largest radiologic science association, seeks a full-time social media strategist. This high-energy professional will develop social media strategies, track and analyze key data points and power up our social media presence to engage membership and grow our following. Responsibilities • Create new and original content, and spearhead creative and effective ways to promote ASRT membership, products, services and advocacy efforts on ASRT social media platforms. • Increase awareness of ASRT brand and boost engagement on social platforms. • Develop and manage paid and unpaid campaigns, set measurable objectives, gather data and determine the success of the campaigns. • Oversee the ASRT Communities and work with subject matters experts to provide guidance on appropriate communication practices. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in new media, social media, public relations, communications or journalism. • Three years’ experience developing corporate social media strategies and campaigns with demonstrated results. • Superior knowledge of existing platforms: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google+. • Excellent ability to engage members and grow our following. • Intermediate skill level using Microsoft Office and recognized data analytics programs. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including strong writing skills. • Superb organizational, prioritization, project management and analytical skills. • Extraordinary ability to collaborate with several departments and diverse personalities, yet work independently when necessary. • Strong respect for approval processes and recognition that social media posts are far-reaching. • Robust knowledge of social media trends, pop culture and influencers. • Light travel that extends into evenings and weekends may be required. • Telecommuting or contract work is not an option.
