SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT MGRWe are seeking a Software Development Manager to lead the continued technical development of ASRT’s line of business applications. This individual will take the lead in designing and implementing distributed applications and ensuring the integrity and availability of those. This position will lead the development team in delivering enterprise scalable solutions, as well as consult on strategic and organizational initiatives. Responsibilities • Lead a team of talented engineers using Agile and TDD methodologies • Ensure engineering and operational excellence through specific design methodologies, with metrics for process for assessment and improvement • Foster continuous engineering improvement through mentoring, feedback, and metrics Requirements • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of industry experience of increasing responsibility running engineering teams • Prior leadership experience managing a development team with multiple, competing priorities simultaneously • Multidisciplinary experience overseeing software development, and project management • Proficiency in system-level design, and experience with web services and service oriented architectures • Proficiency in the Microsoft design stack (C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server) • Good communication and analytical skills, including ability to identify and solve ambiguous problems Preferred Qualifications • Strong knowledge of systems architecture, loosely coupled and distributed systems • Experience with MVC, Angular.js ASRT employees also enjoy a 100 percent employer-paid comprehensive benefits package, tuition reimbursement, community outreach, vacation, sick time, holiday pay and an exquisite 401(k) plan.
