First Sunday, 5 pm to 7 pm. Open sitting (come and go as you'd like) and one-on-one meetings. (Pls check website for certain cancelled dates.) This work is tradition-neutral and is for people from any meditation traditions or no tradition at all, as well as for people interested in teachers such as Pema Chodron, Toni Packer, Nhat Hanh, Tolle, Byron Katie, Krishnamurti and Vimala Thakar. We'll explore directly what meditative work is and how it sheds light on the concerns of our lives, not theoretically, but from a simple meditative listening that includes others and oneself. A well established mens support group is seeking additional members. Our group is secular and non directed (we have no professional psychologist), no fees or dues. We meet every two weeks. We are seeking men who are looking to develop deeper communication and to become more self aware. All races religions and back grounds welcome. We will have an introductory meeting at the flying star at Rio Grande and Griegos on November 14th at 1:00pm. We will likely be on the patio. Look for the NMMW sign. Struggling with anorexia or bulimia? The holiday season can be especially tough, but there is help available. This is a SAFE space, suitable for anyone of 18 years or older struggling with anorexia or bulimia. This is a FREE group and open to the community. First meeting will be Monday, November 2nd at 5:45 - 7:00 PM. This will be a recurring group. Email for more information including location and what to expect.
