Crazy Horse

Hardworking documentary filmmaker Frederick Wiseman (Titicut Follies, High School, Zoo, The Garden, La Danse, Boxing Gym) goes behind the scenes of Paris' famed erotic dance review. His fly-on-the-wall style gives a good idea of how much hard work goes into doing a live stage show. But those looking for narrative direction might be disappointed by the film's languid, observational style. Even so, it's a treat to see the Crazy Horse's eye-boggling, booty-shaking production numbers on screen. 134 minutes Unrated. (Opens Sunday 4/1)
