Dr. Seuss' The Lorax

The French animators who gave us Despicable Me return with another imaginative effort. Of course, screenwriters scribble madly to flesh out Dr. Seuss' slim ecological fable. Fans can debate these additions to their heart's content. At the end of the day, the tale of a young lad (Ed Helms) trying to get rich quick by denuding a forest while being harangued by a "mystical and slightly annoying guardian of the forest" (Danny DeVito) is a solid one. 94 minutes PG.
