The Dictator

At this point, you should know whether you like Sacha Baron Cohen (Ali G Indahouse, Borat, Brüno) or not. Personally, I've never gotten so much as a chuckle off the guy. Strip away the blisteringly offensive jokes, and he's Mike Myers at his costume-loving worst (The Love Guru, Dr. Seuss' The Cat in the Hat). You may feel differently. Mazel tov. Here, Cohen plays a Moammar Gadhafi-inspired dictator, who abuses his people and then finds himself lost and beardless in New York City. Naturally, he falls in love with a vegan feminist (Anna Faris) and turns into a nice guy. Puh-leez. 83 minutes R.
