Saints and Soldiers: Airborne Creed

Corbin Allred, David Nibley, Jasen Wade and Lincoln Hoppe (well, their parents know who they are) star in this prequel to director Ryan Little's 2003 film Saints and Soldiers. This low-budget World War II drama focuses on the 517th Parachute Regimental Combat Team, which ends up behind enemy lines in the south of France. There, our gung ho good guys attempt to liberate some members of the French resistance. ... Oh, and spread the word of Mormon. This Church of LDS-produced drama is just the latest of many conservative religious films flooding theaters these days. If Mitt Romney gets elected, we've got plenty more heavily moralistic Mormon films to look forward to. 94 minutes PG-13.
