Prop. 8 Protest

As you know, Proposition 8 passed in California and threatens to amend the state’s constitution so marriage is only legal between a man and a woman. This would overturn California’s Supreme Court’s decision on the issue earlier this year that allowed same-sex couples to marry in the state.

I got a call yesterday about a protest happening Saturday at 11:30 a.m. in Civic Plaza. It’s part of a national effort by Join the Impact. Call your friends, draw some signs, grab some breakfast burritos and make your way to the plaza to become part of a national voice against discrimination.

Isn't California supposed to be the figurehead of progressive american values? I blame the governator.

for augmented bodies, bad attitudes and bad tans. Agreed jamma, all of which are characteristic of their dear governor.

There is now way I can go back to my old life. These days I can be seen hob-nobbing in swamps eating gravy rice with such well knowns as John Goodman and Ron Howard's brother Clint. After which we head over to the Northshore Marriot grand ballroom for some cocktail shrimp floating ice water, wearing no panties when getting out of the production's Dodge caravan. I'll see you in January

My dear mother, who lives in Los Angeles, four whole hours to get home the other day as there were a good thousand protesters lying down in the middle of Westwood Blvd. Quote from the action...

"How are we going to un-do....I DO!?!?"
