El DeBarge Is Not Dead
By Devin D. O’Leary [ Tue Jun 29 2010 1:11 PM ]
I repeat: El DeBarge is not dead. So, under what other circumstances would he be the No. 3 search term on Yahoo today? Did 7,000 people suddenly go, “Wow! I totally just remembered ‘Rythm of the Night’ from Berry Gordy’s The Last Dragon! Awesome song. Whatever happened to El DeBarge, anyway?” I suppose the alternative is 7,000 people suddenly going, “Wow! I totally just remembered ‘Who’s Johnny’ from Short Circuit! Awesome song. Whatever happened to El DeBarge, anyway?” ... But that seems even less likely.
