video games Webgame Wednesday on Friday: Biogems Biogems takes the head-to-head puzzle action pioneered by Capcom's classic Super Puzzle Fighter II and adds a few light RPG elements to keep things interesting. You pick one of three characters, then battle progressively smarter enemies by matching gems on a large grid (think Bejeweled). Differently colored gems have different effects. Some are offensive, some are defensive. Use the money you accumulate along the way to upgrade your armor and weapons. And watch out for the final boss--he's a dirty cheater.
