Later this summer, the Kimo Theater is hooking up to a super high-speed fiber optic network which will allow them to download and project all kinds of movies and concerts in HD. This whole project is kicking off Saturday, June 19 with a screening of Bruce Springsteen’s concert in London’s Hyde Park. The reception begins at 7:00 p.m. and the screening starts at 8:00 p.m. Proceeds from this screening will benefit the Kimo Digital Rep Series which will include, among many other things, a Hitchcock film festival in October. Give it up for the Boss and help support this very cool project. $15 advance tickets are available online.
