G and I are in Taos at dusk. We watch a jeep Wagoneer perform a jump from a dirt road off a hill and over some water. We then go to a fancy Mexican buffet. There are circular bas-relief carvings in the patio floor and walls. I get a plate of tacos. G gets green chili enchiladas that I had not noticed. Our waitress, a gray-haired woman, takes my full plate from me, ostensibly to bring me some enchiladas instead. She does not return. I try to hunt her down. I find some of the other wait staff and describe her to them. They point and I find her hiding behind a door. She gives an unintelligible excuse. I go up to the pretty cashier, who informs me that they are now closed. I go upstairs onto the roof. The food is now gone - only empty tables and steam trays remain.
I am sitting with friends at a table in a restaurant. Our waitress takes our order in a spiral notebook. She has long curly red hair. She drops a small bottle onto our table. It contains two extracted molars with spiraling roots and two live crab spiders.
I am having lunch at a small diner with friends. Our waitress is a lovely, buxom redhead with a tight pink blouse and a green miniskirt. She brings us a bong and a round of soft drinks made from pot. She gives us instructions for leaving quickly if we are seen. There are three exits. I choose the first door which leads to the hotel lobby. There I meet my friend D who is carrying a plate of food. He drops it on the carpet when he sees me. I return to the diner to leave a tip, but find I only have two $20's and an $87 dollar bill.
