Better Late Than Never—What is it about all-ages New Year's concerts that happen a full week after the fact? (See this week's "Screamo and Skateboards" in “Lucky 7” for one example.) Bah. If you'd like to continue dropping the ball on your New Year's celebration, zoom up to Warehouse 21 in Santa Fe (1614 Paseo de Peralta) for their "Enter the '06" showcase on Friday, Jan. 6. A mix of six bands from Santa Fe and abroad will perform an eclectic, all-ages show, running the gamut from powerpop to post-hardcore, indie-folk to experimental. Bands include Dismal Intensity, Headshot Symphony, Knife The Hero, Bark Bark Bark, Milk:Blood and Sunset Drive. And While You're in Santa Fe—Warehouse 21 will host a lineup of quality local poprock the following night on Saturday, Jan. 7, with Zookeeper, The Cherry Tempo, Gingerbread Patriots and August Spies. That show is $7 and starts at 7 p.m. And it's all-ages, of course.
