A plague befalls the Blackbird Buvette (509 Central NW) on Tuesday, Jan. 25, when DJ Caterwaul debuts a monthly, ochre-colored night known as Low Life. Expect deep psych, garage, punk, freaky rock and other sounds from his musical dungeon. The tunes begin at 9 p.m. Entry is free, but only for those of legal drinking age. (Jessica Cassyle Carr)

Low Life with DJ Caterwaul twice a month now!
“Low” as in downtown, underground, lowdown’n’dirty. Expect some deep psych, garage, punk and freaky, funky rock, with plenty of curveballs in the mix as well. Come on out- grab some grub, have a few drinks, and dig in! It’s now every 2nd AND 4th Tuesday nights of the month, right after Geeks Who Drink. And downtown on a Tuesday night is way chill.
