Music Interview

Danzig on Danzig

Glenn Danzig talks with his MySpace alterego

I’m not a journalist. I'm a local musician, who, like a majority of my generation, has a MySpace page. I have my own personal page, sure, but I secretly maintain a Glenn Danzig page. Flashback Fright Fest

Stranger Things Arcade Carnival

Netflix's retro-spooky series "Stranger Things" was the best thing to happen to horror in ages. In celebration of the show's second season, Tractor Brewing and Tricklock Company present Stranger Things Arcade Carnival. Visitors can enjoy snacks from Pop Fizz and Whole Foods, and art from Octopus and Fox. Have your fortune told, test your luck against the Demigorgon and check out the blind date booth. DJ Flo Fader will spin all the best '80s dance hits "all night long" (to quote Lionel Ritchie). At 10pm local theater troupe Tricklock heads to an outdoor circus tent to host the legendary Lizard Lounge, a late-night cabaret filled with bizarre acts. Woven throughout all the flashback fun is a selection of free-to-play classic arcade games and pinball machines, courtesy of Geekon. Tickets are $15 and are available through Eventbrite.
