Although only around for a year and a half in its original 1964 permutation, The Skatalites is an institution. Its musicians formed the backbone of ska, as well as offshoots rocksteady and reggae, and developed many of the playing styles associated with the genres.

Gilded Cage Burlesk and Varieté is definitely getting on Santa's Naughty list with Yule Logs and Jingle Balls: A Very Risqué, Very Glittery, Very Burlesque Ode to the Holidays. Burlesque dancers, sideshow performers, drag acts and more join forces to celebrate this most sparkly of holidays in grand style. The headliners for this show are Colorado boylesque stars Mr. Valdez and Mustang Monroe joined by New Mexico faves Vivian MirAnn, Mena Domina and Holly Rebelle. Doors at Low Spirits open at 8pm, show starts at 9pm sharp and entry is $10.
