Elvis is in the house—Chef Elvis Bencomo, that is. With co-owner Monica (Elvis’ wife), Pasión Latin Fusion serves up dishes found throughout Latin America with Elvis’ own creative flair. Monica runs the front of the house and her gracious, lively style makes you feel right at home. Try the fish tacos crusted in banana or the spectacular carnitas tacos. Meat, meat, meat. All-you-can-eat meat. And then there's the salad bar. This joint’s got more dead meat than you can shake a chunk of meat on a stick at. From the kill to the grill, Tucanos makes all your dreams come true. That is, if you dream about meaty hunks of marinated flesh sliced right at your table. This lively, busy and fun Brazilian-themed restaurant next to the Century 14 movie theater is open late. (Alibi Staff, August 11, 2010)

This new Colombian cuisine spot serves up beautifully satisfactory meals. We like the choriarepa which is corn cake with chorizo, the picada which is steak, pork rinds, chorizo, yuca, plantain, colombian potatoes, lemon, chimichurri and aji but our favorite thing is the maracuya (passion fruit) jugos con leche. The friendly—although few—servers make the wait for the delicious food worth it. (Alibi Staff, September 14, 2015)

A lively pan-South American café featuring cubano sandwiches, arepa, ajiaco and other Latin delights. The cubano is a can’t-miss. Make sure you down it with a glass of muracayá, and try the mouth-watering flan do coco before you leave this relaxed eatery. (Alibi Staff, August 23, 2011)

Albuquerque - Food Truck

1.67 rating (6 votes)
Argentinians love their meat, and chef Diego Grant is no exception. With a rotating menu for walk-up foodies and a special catering menu, there are plenty of choices at this uniquely delicious food truck. Either way, El Gauchito’s cooking is not to be missed. (Alibi Staff, September 12, 2013)
