Fortunately, that holds true for the pizza as well. No matter where you find yourself in Albuquerque, the pizza is made fresh to order (you can watch the high school-aged staff rolling and tossing the dough) and is always, always delicious with a side of ranch. Sal-E-Boy’s PizzeriaFinding a good pie is a lot harder than it used to be, and Sal-E-Boy’s has been around for 22 years—longer than most delivery drivers for the big chain pie places. If you like seriously thick crust, you’ve found a home. If you like the idea of combining meatballs, marinara, cheese and green chile in an “Italian burrito” then you’ve found nirvana.
