Sombrero’s Mexican Food and HamburgersIt can be surprisingly difficult to find good Mexican food (not New Mexican) in the University area, but Sombrero’s seems poised to change that. Even better, not only does it feature mouth-wateringly authentic fare like carne asada tacos, but the menu has a surprsingly robust and inventive hamburger selection. If you find yourself overwhelmed with the choice between a Pancho Villa and a Zapata burger, you can always go for the Whole Hog. It has everything on it, from green chile to onion strings to bacon to blackberry jam. Yes, you read that right: blackberry jam. (Alibi Staff, February 20, 2014)
