Blue cheese on the spinach salad?? [ Tue Mar 3 2009 3:49 PM ]

I swear the delicious spinach salads used to have more of a feta cheese. I hadn't eaten there in over a year and the blue cheese ruined the salad I used to love. They claim it was always a blue cheese though.

over blue cheese on salad.
also regarding the undercooked pizza thing. i think their pizzas are better with just a couple of toppings.
if you overload that is when they tend to be undercooked.

If you look at the boxes you'll see that the plain pepperoni variety has a cook time of 10 minutes, while the varieties with more toppings have a cook time of 13 or more. This would seem to support your theory on overloaded pizzas being undercooked.

The ingredients are of excellent quality & authentic to Northern Italy, & so are worth the $8-$9 per pizza. The wood-fired brick oven is the best way to cook a pizza. The salads are great also. My favorite is their Caesar salad ~ the dressing is made fresh to order & is the best I've ever tasted. The espressos & cappucinos are made by baristas who have been trained to make it properly. The sidewalk tables are typically European ~ dine al fresco while watching Nob Hill shoppers strolling past & people rolling by on Central Ave. (Rt. 66). Love the late night hours ~ one of Albuquerque's rare eateries that's open past 9 pm!

in the same shopping center as Sunflower Market on 528 near Corrales. This one seems to be just as good as the Nob Hill one, and even a little bigger with more space for both indoor and outdoor dining. For the quality of food you get, the prices are beyond reasonable.
