Let me start this review by saying: college days rule! I have had the pleasure of dining at all DG's locations (Las Cruces and Albuquerque) over the last 25 years and they're still bringing it fierce. themanlunch (tml) was impressed; my all-time fave is still on the menu, regular size #20 - Turkey/Bacon/Avocado. Add the drink and chips (tell 'em you want the combo meal) and you walk for less than $9, which is always a good thing by tml standards. Deli staff is friendly and efficient, free of the subwayste rhetoric and crappy hat. You can watch them make your grub if you choose but I suggest a little people-watching instead, it's far more entertaining. Simply put, tml will be visiting DG's Deli and Market for many years to follow. Visit them before you visit them: [link].

If your website and front door say you close at 3 p.m., why were your doors locked at 2:30 on Saturday? And I know some of your employees were in there ... not making me a sandwich.

east coast shredded lettuce hoagie thang. Sadly missing from their repertoire, though, is the (pickled?) pepper relish I so miss from the old country.
