Gelato is a gift from the gods. These flavors are fantastic (try the tiramisu), the texture is soothing and it's lower in fat than ice cream. Stop by Ecco for a tasty frozen treat, a hot, hand-pressed espresso and a European-style café experience. Open until 10 p.m. weeknights and 11 p.m. on weekends! (Alibi Staff, August 11, 2010)

I try to stop by here once a week; they have a constantly-revolving list of gelato flavors (all are incredible and unique) so you never get bored, and the hand-pulled espresso is perhaps the best in the city. This is your typical forgotten coffee shop that stands the test of time against the bigger boys like Starbucks due to the quality of their craft. Could make the inside a tad more inviting by decorating the walls or add some more furniture, just to add to the cozy atmosphere, but the espresso and gelato is good enough to make you a regular. Try the chocolate rose affogato style!
