How many times have you driven past the little white food cart at Fourth Street and Griegos and thought, Is it worth stopping for? Without a doubt, the answer is yes. Have a seat at the picnic table in front and watch tia through a Plexiglas window as she rolls up tacos, burritos, quesadillas and gorditas with carne asada, pollo asado, picadillo (spiced, minced beef) chicharrones and lingua (meltingly tender tongue). Grab a communal bowl of salsa and become happily fed while making new friends. There are a few types of aguas frescas (fruit juices) to drink, and in the winter, ALT is one of the few places you can get champurrado (a hot chocolate-atole beverage) in Albuquerque.
