SR. WEB DESIGNER

Sr. Web Designer Develops the overall design structure of the NMPBS web site, maintains, and updates web pages with current content. Participates in developing a strategic plan for the NMPBS web site to include goals, internal policies, standards, and procedures. There is currently over 150 web pages included in the newmexicopbs.org website. Assess new standards, technologies, and trend, ensures website is accessible from a variety of different platforms. Troubleshoot or repair website in the event of failure, design layouts for updated content, and ensures the site maintains a high level of functionality and usability. Coordinates and understands a comprehensive range of web programming software and authoring languages, ensure content is delivered at a sufficiently high level of speed and quality. Liaise with PBS Interactive for content. Represent station at national level PBS meetings, conduct conference presentations. Program Manager The Transdisciplinary Research, Equity and Engagement Center for Advancing Behavioral Health (TREE Center) seeks a highly motivated team player with a commitment to improving public health to work with a multi-disciplinary team in the development, implementation and evaluation of the Transdisciplinary Research, Equity and Engagement Center for Advancing Behavioral Health (TREE Center). The TREE Center is housed in the College of Population Health and bridges several Colleges and Departments on main campus and the Health Sciences Center and has a budget of $1.4 million per year. As part of a federal grant funded by the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities, we are continuing the operations of a pre-­existing health disparities research center to further focus on testing the effectiveness of behavioral health interventions for racially, ethnically and geographically diverse communities in the southwest region of the nation including the U.S. Mexico border, tribal lands and rural/frontier areas of New Mexico. The Program Manager will support the TREE Center’s three Cores (Administrative, Community Engagement Dissemination and Investigator Development), two research projects and pilot research projects. This Center’s model and transdisciplinary team was assembled based on our overarching vision for inclusion, equity, diversity and community engagement in advancing the pipeline of under­-represented minority researchers and multi-level behavioral health research. TREE Center’s research leadership and larger community of practice are rooted in culturally centered knowledge that is complemented with academic science. Under the primary oversight of the Director and a co-­leadership team of PI’s and Core Directors, the Program Manager will support management and administrative needs of the entire TREE Center, including tracking and monitoring the budget in compliance with NIH and UNM procedures, personnel management, human subjects protocol and NIH reporting and timelines, and use of multi-site facilities by the TREE Center faculty and staff. The Program Manager will also be responsible for the day-­to-day operations of an integrated research center consisting of a set of interconnected component activities.
