This rooftop bar offers a breezy patio, a menu of small plates and specialty cocktails for those looking to relax after a long day at work (the kind where you wear suits!). Albuquerque - Nob Hill

Imbibe

3101 Central Ave NE (Nob Hill)
Albuquerque NM 87106
(505) 255-4200
www.imbibenobhill.com
Mon-Sat: 11am-2am Sun: noon-midnight (hours can change without notice)
Meals Served: Open Late
Imbibe is an über-trendy cigar lounge with backlit smoke-tendril art and contemporary seating. There are hordes of annoying knockoff-clad barflies as far as the eye can see, but the humidor is well-stocked and well-attended by knowledgeable staff, and there’s a rooftop deck (if you can make it up there; there’s always a line). Get there early for the best seats.

Tractor Brewing Co.

118 Tulane Dr SE (Nob Hill)
Albuquerque NM 87106
(505) 433-5654
getplowed.com
Sun-Thu noon-midnight Fri-Sat noon-2am (hours can change without notice)
Nearby Theater: Guild Cinema (See Film Times)
Cuisine: Brewery
Tractor draws the crowd by serving beer that’s come a long way since head brewer Dave Hargis took over. Today’s Tractor offers up nine taps, with five constants (IPA, red, honey wheat, pale ale and stout) and four rotating taps. The doppelbock is excellent, and Tractor seems to excel at the bock styles. (It took first place at the 2011 Santa Fe BockFest.) There is no kitchen, but Albuquerque’s best food trucks are almost always parked right outside.

Albuquerque - North Valley

Meals Served: DinnerOpen Late
Nearby Theater: Movies West (See Film Times)
Vernon’s is a swanky underground spot for good eats and high times, delivered speakeasy-style. The dining room is walled with lustrous, ebony adobe, and the tables are clothed in crisp, black and white linens. By the glass or bottle, there’s plenty of quality hooch. The menu is classic steakhouse stuff with beef tournedos in a silky demi-glace, fresh fish and a damn fine veal Oscar. Check out the Black Diamond Lounge to take in the fancy cocktails and live music.

Right next to a Pizza Hut, this is a busy little neighborhood joint filled with locals. The drinks are good, the people are friendly, and it’s even been said that Billy’s Pub is Albuquerque’s own “Cheers.” So sit down, order a whiskey and get ready to shoot the shit with the regulars.

Enter this cavern ... erm, we mean tavern ... and get ready to relax the old fashioned way: drink alcohol and throw around sharp, pointy objects. With refreshing brews, pool, darts and bangin’ live music from local groups like the Memphis P Tails, this the coolest dive with an underground feel.

A tried-and-true college sandwich shop, Cheba Hut is Albuquerque’s answer to a Which Wich or any number of grab-n-go deli situations. With fresh-baked bread, loaded sammies and plenty of vegetarian options, they definitely know how to cater to their crowd. They’re open ‘til midnight, too, so provide a great solution to those late-night munchies.
