On the way into work this morning, I was listening to right-wing radio on 106.3 FM and some no-nothing idiot was pontificating about how she thinks people will probably stay home from the polls this election day because this primary is so boring. Not true! Look, there are lots of important races in this primary, especially if you’re a registered Democrat—from attorney general to secretary of state to state auditor. If you refuse to educate yourself, if you insist on staying home, then you’ll get the crappy fourth-rate municipal, county, state and federal reps you deserve.
