FlashQuiz: Pop-Art

The Pop-Art Quiz doesn't test your acuity for Warhols and Lichtensteins—it actually measures a phenomenon called "change blindness," defined here as "the frequent inability of our visual system to detect alterations to something in plain view." (Read all about it in this New York Times science article.) You've got a few seconds to study Ellsworth Kelly’s “Study for Colors for a Large Wall,” then decide if a highlighted area has changed (or not).

It's really hard. I only got one slide right out of seven. Take the quiz.
