Dropping Brahms

Sunday Chatter

After you've experienced all the gratitude you can stand, muster up just a little more. Tomorrow morning's Sunday Chatter lineup features local and visiting musicians jamming Johannes Brahms’ “String Quintet in G Major.” Chatter Artistic Director James Shields premieres his string quartet “Holds Ghosts” and Tricklock Theatre Company's Kevin Elder reads from his new play, a trailer park tragedy titled “Disposable Boys.” Get to The Kosmos an hour early to indulge in a gratis espresso bar. Once you're fully caffeinated, partake in a dynamic, theatrical sonic happening. Whether you make like a wallflower or commingle with your fellow humans, this weekly concert series is bound to inspire leftover-induced, postprandial daydreaming and conversation. The recital and recitation starts at 11 a.m. Admission is $15 for the general public, but it's only nine bucks for full-time students and folks under 30. Children under 12 get in for a fiver.
