A Joyful Reaping
Welcome autumn with wine, bread, chile and cider by heading north up I-25 this weekend to El Rancho de las Golondrinas to enjoy the distinctly New Mexican fruits of the Harvest Festival. Don't just reap the output, but share the work with the volunteer "villagers" of the living history museum as they stomp grapes by foot and fire up the hornos.
When you're all tuckered out, hitch a ride on one of the ranch's mule-drawn wagons or relax near one of the property's ponds and listen to traditional music. The festival kicks off at 10am on both Saturday and Sunday and wraps up at 4pm. El Rancho de las Golondrinas, Santa Fe • Sat Oct 3 • 10am-4pm • $0-$8 • ALL-AGES! • View on Alibi calendar
