Centennial Celebration

Saturday, Aug 20: 100th Birthday for the National Park Service

The National Park Service turns 100 this year and Albuquerque is throwing a little party to kick off the second century of wildlife and open space preservation. Okay, so there might not be a birthday cake or balloons at this soiree but there will be a special presentation hosted by ranger Allison Martin. Join Martin at the Petroglyph National Monument on Saturday, Aug. 20, to learn about the history of the National Park Service and why parks are so important. The talk begins at 6:30pm and is totally free. Petroglyph National Monument • Sat Aug 20 • 6:30-7:30pm • FREE • 13+ • View on Alibi calendar
