Event Horizon

Eric McFadden, a Left-Coast guitarist who came up in Albuquerque under the tutelage of noted jazz guitarist Stan Hirsch, performs with his band at Low Spirits on Thursday, Dec. 22. McFadden used the keen, string-based insight he gleaned from Hirsch to catapult himself outta this town and into a formidable career that has included stints as the guitarist for George Clinton and the P-Funk All-Stars, as well as work as a renowned session and touring musician. McFadden also fronted a mythically famous and scene-creating band right here in the Duke City. They were known as Angry Babies, in case you want to know. Anywho, McFadden brings all that gravitas and a great sound to town on Thursday night. Small Town Therapy, an acoustic, instrumental outfit from Oakland, Calif. opens.
