Earlier today word came through the AP wire that Los Angeles and the movie industry is facing yet another strike. Following the successful writer’s strike, the Best Boy Union has decided that it will take up picketing the major studios due to what they are calling “gross negligence.”

Spokesperson for the Best Boy Union, Patti Johnson, is calling upon all best boys to walk off of film and television sets that have just recently begun production. Earlier this morning she stated, “No longer will the best boy be cut out of the residuals garnered from internet sales." The best boy’s position on set is to assist and run menial errands, like walking paperwork from one area to another. Johnson said, “Without the work of these men and women, television would never get made. Let’s show a little respect here, eh?”

At the press conference, Johnson was joined by best boy, Larry Parker. Parker has worked in the film industry for over 25 years and has been a part of every Harrison Ford movie ever made. As a final note on the press conference, Parker stated, “Pilot season is bullshit this year anyway. If you aren't working on Lost, then what’s the goddamn point?” Johnson shook her head in agreement and said, “Seriously though, that show is amazing.”
