The showcase comes to ABQ Sept. 5-6, and actors have the opportunity to audition onstage in front of directors and a live audience. Interested actors should send in a resume, a head shot and a one-minute audition video. Submissions are due on July 17. For more info, head to nmfilmfoundation.org.

The New Mexico Film Foundation is partnering with Filmstock Film Festival for a groundbreaking Actor’s Showcase, set to take place Sept. 5-6 in Albuquerque. The top 20 actors selected to participate will have a chance to do auditions with directors on stage in front of a live audience. The winning actor and actress will then be featured in commercials, screen stills and red carpet interviews at the next three Filmstock events in Colorado, Utah and Arizona. If you’re a local actor interested in getting a big break, however, you need to act quickly. To enter you must submit your 1-minute video audition, head shot and resume by Thursday, July 17.
