Art Exhibit Reception

New artworks by Karin Pitman and April Fletcher. Runs through 8/31.

"The New Mexico State Lands Office will showcase an art show of works by two New Mexican artists, Karin Pitman and April Fletcher.  The exhibit, which opens on August 4 and runs through the month of August, is located in the Lobby Gallery of the State Land Office in Santa Fe.  An artists reception will be held there on Friday, August 8, 2014 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm.  Both artists works generally reflect a deep connection to nature and the New Mexico environment, though with enough exceptions to make the exhibit varied and interesting.  Karin Pitman works with ink, watercolor, and acrylics; April Fletcher works with art paper, acrylics, and natural plant materials."
