3rd Annual Garlic Fest

Featuring garlic of all varieties, speakers, doggie treats and over 30 vendors dishing out their favorite recipes using garlic.

Idalia Road Marketplace is holding their 3rd annual Garlic Fest. It's one of the most anticipated events of our season each year. If you like garlic or are the least bit interested in it you need to check us out.

We will have Garlic of all varities for sale, Geo's Mobile Bistro will have at least one of its wonderful menu itens made with garlic and our Horno bread baker will have garlic infused Horno brread along with some sweet treats. Speakers will be on hand both days to speak on the uses, nutritional value of and many types of garlic. We will also have someone on hand telling us how to cook with garlic and someone will tell us how to grow it.

One of our many vendors will even have garlic doggie cookies. Most of the 30+ vendors will hand out their favorite recepies using garlic. If you have never been to the Marketplace Saturday is our growers market. We have been very patient with Mother Nature as the season for almost all local crops has been very late. That is why we are pleased to announce that True Vine Chili will be on hand to roast the great Hatch Chili that they bring with them. Our wonderful sweet corn will be available as well as other items in season.
