“I started singing in February of this year After being diagnosed with breast cancer and decided I was going to sing my way through it. I had been singing at the open mics and jam sessions around town as well as the guest vocalist with some of the local bands Joe Warner and the Hoodoos, Darin Goldston and the Memphis P tails, Felix and Los Gatos the Jake Jones and the Cornbread Blues Band. Not to mention the great honor and pleasure I have had being accompanied by so many fabulous and talented musicians here in Albuquerque Before starting my own band in June of this year.” -  Raven Rutherford
