Live on the air at Madrid's KMRD 96.9 FM: Dandelion Liberation Front • Diane Patterson • folk
PRESS RELEASE
On stage and live on the air at Madrid's own radio station KMRD 96.9 FM, Dandelion Liberation Front, a band from Madrid born around the campfire, will perform their witchy-gypsy americana originals. The Dandelions will be sharing the stage with folkgoddess Diane Patterson. Diane has been touring since 1990 with her strong voice, rocking guitar, sweet ukelele and revolutionary lyrics. In addition to the music, Rivera Sun will be reading her words of love and revolution from her acclaimed novel, The Dandelion Insurrection. “Be kind. Be connected. Be unafraid.”
The show will be broadcast from Studio 14 in Madrid, New Mexico on November 23, 4-6 pm. It is open to the public and there will be a $5 suggested donation, the majority donated to KMRD.
Following the broadcast, the bands will be performing at The Mine Shaft Tavern for an 8-11 pm show.
