This is a significant collection of images of public artwork created by New Mexico artists and photographers during the New Deal era (1933-1943) which includes the Great Depression.

 

The exhibit represents Work Progress Administration art commissions realized in towns across New Mexico. Rare and famous photographs by Dorothea Lange are also represented.
