The NOMS • acoustic rock

The Noms are a 6-member group from Albuquerque, N.M. We are not your typical “rock” band. We do not follow the trends of the moment. Instead, we experiment to find our own sound. That sound starts with rich vocal harmonies, blending the distinctive voices of our two lead vocalists followed by a wall of 5 part harmonies.

From there, anything goes: guitar, piano, bass, drums, piano, horns, banjo-whatever the song needs, we use. Since our start in the summer of 2009, we have been able to bring lots of great fans into our orbit. In one show we try to take our audience through a variety of emotions. We go from stirring deep emotions, and maybe some tears, to bringing the house down with wild, free-spirited dancing. But the true blood of each song is expressing who we are as individuals and fusing our distinct personalities into a single sound. We have opened for many national touring acts.

With our new album “Something Beautiful” set to release in March of 2015, our new single “Home” has been featured on iHeart and Clear Channel radio stations. In short, we’re living the dream. There is no separation, no wall between audience and performance. Friend, fan, mom, passerby, bartender: everyone is a part of the music. For us, the best part of what we do is not just about sharing music; it’s about sharing happiness.
