ALL-AGES!More events at ABQ BioPark Zoo
Visit discovery stations around the zoo to learn about the conservation of some of the rarest animals on Earth.
By the latest numbers, there are 2,464 animals and 2,104 plants around the world labeled "critically endangered." These species face a high risk of extinction in the wild. For 40 years the Endangered Species Act has worked to protect animals and plants from extinction and helped put those species on the path to recovery.
Learn what the ABQ BioPark is doing to help keep species off the extinction list and what you can do to help. Discovery Stations set up at the Zoo May 11 -15 will focus on a different endangered animal each day.
