SKYWARN Weather Spotter Class

Are you a weather watcher? In partnership with Bernalillo County Open Space, NWS Albuqueqrue is currently recruiting volunteer SKYWARN weather spotters and volunters for the Community Collaborative Rain, Hail and Snow Network, (CoCoRaHS). Meteorologists from the NWS will teach the basics of severe local storms to include thunderstorms, flash floods, downburst winds, tornadoes, and more. You will also learn important safety information and how to stay prepared. Registration not required.
