Mayor Richard J. Berry and the City of Albuquerque’s Parks & Recreation Department, Open Space Division, invite you to a summer of family friendly events during our 2015 Open Space Summer Series.  This popular series features talks, demonstrations, and shows by some of Albuquerque's best speakers, educators, and performers.  All Saturday Sunset Series programs take place at the Elena Gallegos Double Shelter Amphitheater with the exception of Nahalat Shalom Community Klezmer Band on June 13th and Nia demonstration on July 11th which will be at the nearby Elena Gallegos Kiwanis Shelter.  All the Saturday events begin at 7 pm. All talks and performances are free with a $2.00 entry fee per vehicle to the park.  The Elena Gallegos Park is located at the end of Simms Park Road, east of Tramway Boulevard, just north of Academy.  Please check our website, www.cabq.gov/openspace under Open Space Events for more information on the individual events or contact Bill Pentler at 452-5222 or wpentler@cabq.gov
