Soli Musica presents a special Celtic celebration featuring traditional songs of Ireland and Scotland.

Soli Musica, a non-profit community SATB chorus, will present Wearing of the Green, a Celtic Celebration on May 31st at Sandia Preparatory School, 532 Osuna Rd. NE, at 3 pm and 7pm.   The program features traditional songs of Ireland and Scotland, as well as some newer music based on Celtic tradition. Selections include many different styles, from the raw, Scottish-tinged music of Donegal to the lyrical, easy-going style of Clare. Featured guest artists include Cazandra MacDonald, oboist, and the Gaelic Golondrinas, a group playing traditional Celtic instruments.  Tickets: adults, $10 advance online, $12 at the door; ages 12-17. $5; under 12 are free.  Group discounts available.

In addition, drawings will be made for themed gift baskets, wine tasting for 20 ($500 value), a diamond ring (appraised over $1300), to raise funds to expand our music library. Info and tickets are available at the web site, www.solimusica.com, as well as from chorus members.
