Summertime in Old Town: Bob Farrell and Brushfire
Enjoy a Friday night in Old Town!
Bob Farrell has played his music in over 40 states. He made a living playing, singing, and writing songs in Nashville for over a decade while writing for Polygram/Island Music. He also has produced 2 solo albums and is currently working on the third one.
Bob put his music career “on-hold” for eight years while he was in the United States Air Force. But during that time, he won numerous USAF Talent Show awards, including Self-Accompanied Vocalist, Best Vocal Group, and the USAF World Wide Talent Show – Best Of Show.
Bob has opened up for such artists as Johnny Paycheck, Sawyer Brown, John Anderson, Mark Chesnutt, Merle Haggard, and in 2013 for Darius Rucker.
As a songwriter, he has written well over 200 songs to date – and that list continues to grow. Bob understands the bar & dance crowd and knows how to keep the excitement going. As Brushfire, the band keeps the tempo upbeat to allow for great 2-stepping and country-swing. They also mix between the newest country hits on the charts as well as some classic songs. They always find a way to stay with what is most popular. And every now and then you’ll hear a great 70s Rock song with an awesome beat that can be danced to easily with the Country Crowd! For bookings
