This play focuses on playwright Henry and Annie, an actress who is part of a committee to free an imprisoned Scottish soldier. Runs through 8/16.

The Real Thing examines the nature of honesty, in which the author teases the audience with the difference between semblance and reality. The play focuses on the relationship between playwright Henry and Annie, an actress who is part of a committee to free Brodie, a Scottish soldier imprisoned for burning a memorial wreath during a protest. Henry and Annie are in love. She wants him to “fix” a badly written play by Brodie. When he protests, Henry's view of love and fidelity are tested as surely as his writing skills. Packed with wit, ideas and feeling,  you won’t want to miss The Real Thing!
