Ian Ladrón's film follows popular Cuban group Los Van Van through their 2006 tour.

The series of Cuban films screened at the National Hispanic Cultural Center in August is presented in conjunction with the performance by Los Van Van, Cuba's biggest dance band, at the NHCC on August 19. They are provided by Anya Achtenberg, courtesy of the Instituto Cubano del Arte e Industria Cinematográficos, with the express permission of director Ian Padrón for Eso que anda.  All films are in Spanish with English subtitles.

In Eso que anda, Ian Padrón follows Los Van Van during their 2006 tour in Cuba, which was attended by more than one million people.  The film explores the band's four decades of history and future plans, and shows, through interviews with the members, why they are called "the narrators of their time."

2009; 60 minutes; not rated.
