Get your daily dose of family-friendly magic and music when Working Classroom presents ¡Bocón!, a one-act play that tells the story of 12-year-old Miguel who is fleeing from a military regime in Central America for a better life in Los Angeles. Miguel is a loud mouth, or bocón, and when his parents get taken, he loses his voice. Miguel must find his voice and the courage to go on. See this humorous and compelling play at the Paul Carpenter y Salazar Theater at Working Classroom. Opening night includes a Best of 2015 art show and refreshments. (Taylor Grabowsky)

This timely one-act tells the story of 12-year-old Miguel who flees a repressive Central American military regime for a new life in Los Angeles. Miguel’s story is relevant to immigrant children from all parts of the world, and to any person who is learning the many meanings of finding one’s voice.
